Steven Souza

Steven A. Souza is a principal with Oliver Wight and past President of Oliver Wight Public Education. For the past 22 years he has been a consultant and educator providing manufacturing and distribution companies with guidance on design and implementation of Integrated Business Planning processes.

Steve brings to his consulting engagements 35 years of experience in general management, manufacturing, and supply chain management positions with Instron Corporation, Bose Corporation, and the Foxboro Company. Both as a practitioner and a consultant, Steve has guided many business improvement initiatives to Class A level performance and is always focused on enabling the client gain speed to results. Steve has diverse industry experience including industrial equipment, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. Some of his clients include Procter & Gamble, Abbott, DuPont, U S Wind Power, Tyco Healthcare, H.J. Heinz, Schering Plough, Cadbury, Guidant, Lever, Johnson & Johnson, and Caterpillar. Steve offers assistance on education, business process design, human and organizational needs assessment, software evaluation, and ongoing implementation process support. He provides education services on most Oliver Wight programs including Sales and Operations Planning and Integrated Supply Chain Management.

Steve was one of the authors and the managing editor of The Oliver Wight ABCD Checklist for Operational Excellence. He is an active speaker for many U.S. and international professional organizations. Steve earned an MBA from Boston University and his BS from Southeastern Massachusetts University.
